For those who selected the physical mode of submission for their online PAN application through the NSDL (now Protean eGov Technologies Limited) portal, the required documents must be sent to the following Pune address:

- Required Documents: The signed acknowledgment slip, affixed with photographs (for individuals), any demand draft, and proofs of identity, address, and date of birth must be enclosed.
- Aadhaar: It is mandatory to quote your Aadhaar number, and a copy of the Aadhaar letter should be enclosed.
- Envelope Labeling:The envelope must be superscribed with "APPLICATION FOR PAN -- N-15 digit Acknowledgement Number" (e.g., "APPLICATION FOR PAN -- N-881010200000097").
- Time Limit: The acknowledgment and documents should reach the Protean office within 15 days from the date of the online application.
